Post New pew pew computer
Finally finished up my new work/play computer earlier this week. Such a proud papa I have to share. Pretty easy build with nice cable management built in, all around the back.
I HAD to have a double tempered glass case this time around, so it lives on top of the table instead of below. At first I thought the MB was dead on arrival, would not post or go to
BIOS. MSI suggested I short out the CMOS, and that did the trick, thankfully came to life without having to RMA. Actually had to short out the JBAT1 pins, taking the battery out didn't do it.
I've used arctic silver for thermal grease forever, decided to try MX-4 based on some reviews, working great so far.

Case - Enthoo Evolv
Board - MSI Pro Carbon X370
CPU - AMD Ryzen 1700x
CPU Cooler - NZXT Kraken X62
RAM - 2 sticks 16GB Gskill TridentZ RGB 2400. (Getting another 2 sticks asap)
EVGA GTX 970 (carried over from old system)
HD - 2 Samsung EVO 500GB (for OS and games + traditional 3GB spin drive, a WD blue (for work stuff)

You would think, but the noise and heat is much better than the previous air cooled cpu build. When rendering 3d etc., the previous cpu air cooler used to ramp up quite impressively, and the room heated up a good 5 degrees after a while, but this Kraken water cooler doesn't seem to ramp up at all. It stays cool as a cucumber, kinda spooks me, I've had to double check CPU temps a few times just to be sure.  :?
